You can't judge a roof from the ground, and scaffolding costs money before a single tile is touched. Our drone surveys the whole roof in minutes and shows you exactly what's going on up there.

Why survey from the air
The parts of a roof that fail first are the parts you cannot see from the ground: the ridge line, the back of the chimney stack, the valleys, the flashing where a rear extension meets the main roof. From the pavement all of that is either hidden or too far away to judge.
Traditionally the only way to inspect them properly was to put up scaffolding or get a ladder onto the roof, which means cost and risk before anyone has established whether there is even a problem. A drone gets a camera over the whole roof in minutes.
No scaffolding, no ladders, no access cost before the survey
High-resolution images of every slope, ridge, valley and flashing
The photos are shared with you, not just described to you
Catches slipped tiles, cracked mortar, blocked valleys and moss early
Useful evidence for insurance claims and pre-purchase surveys
You see what we see
This is the part that matters most to us. Roofing has a trust problem, and it exists because the customer usually cannot check the thing they are being told about. Someone comes down off a ladder, says the ridge has gone, and you have no way to verify it.
With a drone survey you get the photographs. You can see the cracked bed of mortar or the slipped slate for yourself, and you can take those images to someone else for a second opinion if you want to. We are happy for you to do that.
When a drone survey is worth booking
After heavy weather, to check for damage before it turns into a leak. Before buying a property, to know what you are taking on. When you have a leak and want it found without paying for access first. Or simply because the roof is twenty-odd years old and you would like to know whether it is heading for a re-roof.
If the survey shows the roof is fine, that is a perfectly good outcome and we will tell you so.

Drone inspections questions
Do I need to be there for the survey?
It helps, but it isn't essential. Either way you get the photographs, so you can go through what we found in your own time.
Can I use the photos for an insurance claim?
Yes. High-resolution images showing exactly what has failed are usually what an insurer asks for, and we can provide a written report alongside them to support the claim.
What if the drone can't fly?
Drones can't fly safely in high wind or heavy rain, and there are restricted areas where they can't be flown at all. If either applies we'll tell you up front and inspect the roof the traditional way instead.
