Most roof problems start small. A slipped tile or a cracked bed of mortar lets water in, and by the time it shows on your ceiling it has usually been getting in for a while.
No job too small. We track down leaks and put things right, fast, tidy and properly.
Finding the actual leak
Water rarely comes through directly above the stain on your ceiling. It gets in at one point, runs along a rafter or a felt lap, and drops somewhere else entirely. That is why chasing the damp patch upwards often finds nothing.
We look at the roof properly, from above where we need to, and work back from where the water is getting in rather than where it is showing up. A drone survey is often the quickest way to find it without putting up access first.
What we repair
Slipped, cracked and missing tiles and slates
Ridge and hip tiles that have worked loose or lost their mortar bed
Storm damage, from a handful of tiles through to more serious structural repairs
Leaks around roof windows and vents
Valley and abutment details that have started letting water past
Storm damage and insurance
After heavy weather the first priority is getting the roof watertight so the damage stops getting worse. We can make a roof safe and temporarily weathertight quickly, then carry out the permanent repair once the position is clear.
If you are claiming on insurance we can provide photographs and a written report of what has failed and why, which is usually what the insurer asks for. We repair storm damage of all kinds and can support the claim with the evidence they need.

Roof repairs questions
Can you help with storm damage?
Yes. We repair storm damage of all kinds, from slipped tiles and leaks through to more serious repairs, and we can provide photos and reports to support your insurance claim.
Is any job too small?
No. We take on all aspects of roofing, no matter how big or small, from a single slipped tile to a complete new roof. Small jobs get the same care and the same honest pricing as large ones.
How do I know if I need a repair or a whole new roof?
If the problem is localised and the rest of the roof is sound, a repair is the right answer and that's what we'll recommend. If you're getting repeated leaks in different places or the battens underneath have gone, repairs stop being economical. We'll survey it and tell you straight which situation you're in.
